Hymnal Development and Editorial Leadership

Dr. Jonathan A. Powers, Assistant Professor of Worship at Asbury Theological Seminary, serves as General Editor, assisted by Julie Tennent, a recognized church musician and hymnologist who is serving as managing editor. Allison Clour led the extensive data gathering process. The hymnal development office is housed on the campus of Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.

Andrew Miller, Director of Publishing, and Holly Jones, Production Director at Franklin, Tennessee-based Seedbed, are leading the production and operational portions of the project.

An advisory team of music and worship specialists representing the constituent denominational traditions serve as collaborators on an editorial board to ensure that final hymn selections represent the best of the denominational offerings.
